Ranked No. 75 on the American Film Institute’s list of America’s Greatest Romance Stories, the romantic film centers on the president and the romance of Sydney struggling to overcome several adversities. As Kat and Charlie battle media attention and scrutiny in “Marry Me” while maintaining their romance, Andrew and Sydney face political attention and scrutiny for doing the same. Roger Michell’s romantic comedy follows famous Hollywood actress Anna Scott, whose life changes when she meets William Thacker, owner of a London bookstore. In front of Will, Anna’s extreme popularity becomes irrelevant and they both begin a journey to discover love and companionship.
